We are looking for an experienced Commercial Tire Service Technician / Fleet Maintenance Specialist.
Stable working hours (4 x 10’s Tuesday-Friday 9:00 am- 7:30), with opportunities for overtime
This is a hands-on job, and we are looking for someone willing and able to perform the following skills and abilities:
- Perform tire rotations and balances
- Perform tire safety inspections
- Flat tire repairs
- Dismount, rotate, and re-mount tires for inspection, retread and repair
- Change oil, oil filters, and air filters
- Fleet tire inspections, bump checks, tread depth inspections, wear assessments
- Service calls
- Draining the oil from a vehicle and replacing it to manufacturer specifications
- Topping off other fluids, including brake, power steering, and windshield wiper fluid
- Inspecting the engine block and underbody for leaks and potential issues
- Checking tire pressure and filling tires with air as needed to manufacturer specifications
- Replacing air filters, oil filters, windshield wipers, and batteries
- Lubricating moving parts as necessary, including those in the engine and wheel bearings and ensuring the engine is kept clean throughout servicing
- Diagnosing existing issues and consulting with lead mechanics on the team to address the vehicles’ issues
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Automotive tire and lube experience preferred
- TIA certification preferred
- Must pass a drug test
- Clean background check
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
