We’re here to help support the health of our community. For residential customers, we offer medical waste disposal provided by our trained staff. One-gallon sharps containers may be picked up at our office or delivered to your residence. Simply fill out our sharps pickup request form to get started.
Practice Proper Disposal
We can provide you with a container, or you may use your own FDA-cleared sharps container. FDA-cleared sharps disposal containers are made from rigid plastic and come marked with a line that indicates when the container should be considered full.
Oregon State law (OAR 437-02-360) determines how you dispose of special residential waste and regulates the disposal, storage, and transportation of potentially infectious waste. Specifically: needles and lancets used for “at-home” medical care. It is against this law to dispose of any syringes, lancets, or needles in your trash receptacle.
Service Options
Home Pickup
We’ll pick up your sharps container right at your door on your regular weekly trash service day. Please ensure someone is home for pickup as the driver will knock on your door; sharps containers may not be placed outside.
Drop Off
Full containers may be dropped off at our Apple Tree Companies office at 1141 Chemawa Road N. in Keizer. Container must be capped and labeled with the address of where it came from.

We ask for two months payment in advance to start service. Residential customers will be billed every other month.
