Household Hazardous Waste
Many everyday household products (such as weed killer, pool chemicals, degreasers and more) can be dangerous to the health of people and the environment and should not be placed in your curbside bins. Residents can bring these materials to the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility located at the Salem-Keizer Recycling and Transfer Station for free. Business hazardous waste is accepted by appointment only and will be charged a fee.
