Together, we’re driving toward a brighter future. Recycling is included as part of your regular service and picked up on the same day as your trash, every other week. All you need to do is place recyclable items into your commingled cart or red basket and we’ll make sure they find their best next use.
What goes in the recycling?
Sort with care. From plastics to cooking oil to batteries, learn what should (and shouldn’t) go in your recycling bins.
Mixed Recycling Roll Cart
Paper and non-waxed cardboard; plastic bottles and jugs (12oz. or larger, discard caps and pumps); tin and aluminum cans (please rinse first).
Red Basket
Household batteries; usable latex and oil-based paint; used motor oil; antifreeze; glass bottles and jars; vegetable cooking oil. See your recycling guide for special container instructions for each item.

Service Options
Curbside Recycling Service
Curbside means just that — you place your recycling bin and basket at your curb every other week along with your trash cart, and we’ll take it from there.
Recycling Depot
If you have too much recycling to fit in your bin or need to dispose of something extra, bring your items to our convenient drop-off location.
Cart Placement Guide
Place carts at the curb (off of sidewalks), 4 feet apart from other items.
Container Sizes
We’ll provide you with a 95-gallon roll-cart for mixed recycling and a small red basket for additional special recyclables, to be picked up bi-weekly on your regular service day.
Frequently Asked Questions
Food-grade plastic containers that are 12 ounces or larger can be placed in your blue mixed recycling cart. Please rinse first and dispose of any pumps or screwtops.
Yes, any tin or aluminum cans or food grade plastic need to be clean of any remnants.
Shredded paper belongs in the garbage, due to the difficulty of sorting the material.
Yes! Please be sure all boxes are flattened and packaging materials have been removed. Then simply stack them next to your cart and we’ll take care of it.
